1. What is "PLAYSAND" Company?

PLAYSAND.COM.HK is established in getting children to play together safely and happily. We offer different variety of "PLAYSAND" products including white play sand, colored play sand with 30 sparkling colors, arts and crafts works, sand tables, sand boxes, etc... We are also working closely with kindergartens and preschools to provide our "PLAYSAND" products and project ideas to them. Our play sand is also very famous in sand therapy around the world.

2. What is safe play sand and how do I know your play sand is safe?

Safe play sand is fine, smooth, sterile natural sand which is ''silica free'' and non-toxic. It is specialized for kids' play and arts works. Our products are (AP) approved safe by the ACMI, ASTM (USA), and the EN-71 (Europe) and are regularly tested at Duke University and the detailed reports are found in our website. MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) reports are available upon your request.

3. My child ate a handful of the play sand, should I be worried?

Our play sand is absolutely non-toxic and will pass through our digestive system normally.

5. Does your play sand contain asbestos?

Our play sand contains no asbestos or any other toxic substances, and safety reports are available upon your request.

6. Does your play sand mold great?

Yes, our white play sand mold well with the right amount of water, it is wise to ask your kids to explore by experimenting.

7. Can I get some free play sand samples to feel before buying?

Yes, we can send some free sand samples to you with your side take care the shipping cost.

8. Are your ''PLAYSAND'' products expensive?

Depends on what you think, by considering the children's health, safety and creativity, these are absolutely cheap. We have extra discount for large quantities purchasing, kindergartens, schools, sandplay therapy centers, etc...

9. How often should I change the sand?

There is no definite time to change the sand, if your play sand contains contaminant, where it is possible, to capture and dispose of the contaminant, and then replace with sterilized play sand or the contaminated removed whereas the life span is endless.

10. How to clean your play sand?

The following procedure can be done periodically to ensure clean and safe with extending its usefulness as an ideal play medium:
i) In any container; i.e. Plastic pail, fill 1/2 full with play sand.
ii) Place container in sink and let running tap water pour gently over your play sand, allowing water to flow over sides of the container and down the drain, while agitating sand with hand to free any foreign particles in play sand.
iii) Once the sand in the pail has been thoroughly rinsed, pour off excess water and return wet sand to play box. Let dry with cover off.
iv) Repeat this procedure whenever you are aware foreign particles have been introduced to play sand or if and odor exists.
